A Campbell's soup sign could make $60,000 when it sells on October 4-6 at Showtime Auction Services in Michigan. The sign is part of the Don and Diane Sayrizi collection, which is comprised of numerous examples of antique advertising.
The sign shows an American flag comprised of Campbell's soup tins, and is one of only eight known. A similar sign with a slight variation, and in lesser condition, sold at a previous Showtime auction for $60,000.

Showtime is well known for its sales of vintage advertising. In May of this year, it sold a Bellingham Bay beer sign for $27,500 - an increase of 10% on its $25,000 estimate.
Mike Eckles, a spokesperson for the auction house, commented: "By far this is the best collection of antique advertising we have ever had the privilege of selling.
"We've held big auctions in the past, many of which featured advertising items, but never like this. The antique signs, in particular, are highly desirable and would be fine additions to any collection."
The collection also features a circa 1895 salesman's sample cigar store showcase with original carrying case, by Whitcomb Cabinet Company.
Eckles said of the case: "I feel very strongly that this is one of the top 10 salesman's samples ever offered at auction. It wouldn't surprise me to see it sell for $50,000, maybe more."
