A Greek bronze hydria circa 500-400 BCE will lead a two day auction of ancient artefacts at Antiquities Saleroom in Boulder, Colorado on October 10-11 with a $30,000-40,000 valuation.
The vessel is cast in bronze and would have been used to carry water. It sold at Bonhams' London antiquities sale last year for £10,625 ($16,663).

A Roman Palmyrene relief of a young man, circa 200-300 CE, features with an estimate of $20,000-25,000, while a published Roman fragment of marble featuring the head of Agamemnon comes in at $10,000-12,000.
An Etruscan openwork pendant featuring stylized figures holding hands dates to around the 600-800 BCE, and could make $8,000-10,000.
Once the sale of ancient art from Europe, Asia and the Middle East concludes on October 10, an auction of Pre-Columbian Art from the Ancient Americas will follow on October 11.
This part of the auction will feature a number of high profile lots from Mesoamerica including a Veracruz standing priestess model dating to around 650 CE with an estimate of $9,000-12,000.
A rare Olmec jadeite bowl circa 1000 - 900 BCE carries an $8,000-10,000 valuation. The Olmec are known for their early adoption of stone in sculpture, and the bowl is an accomplished piece, featuring rich green colours shot through with contrasting striations.
