The lot is included in the Important Chinese Art auction, which will take place as part of Asian Art Week in New York on September 13-14.

It displays a painting that celebrates the Hui Spring in Wuxi, which was famed for the quality of its water.

The emperor would regularly travel there to drink tea brewed at the spring.

On the reverse is a poem penned by the emperor himself.

Christie's offerings for Asian Art Week include a Shang Dynasty (1600-1046 BC) bronze owl form ritual vessel.
