A silver model of the Aswan Dam made for King Farouk I of Egypt (1920-1965) will cross the block at Heritage Auctions in Dallas with a $100,000-150,000 estimate on September 13.

The 20 by 10 inch piece was made by Omar Ramsden of London and shows the three stages of the Egyptian dam's construction between 1902 and 1939.
It bears the inscription in Arabic: "In memory of the attendance of his Majesty King Farouk I to lay the final stone in the second heightening of the Aswan Dam".
