Freeman's are holding a sale of American Design & American Indian Arts next week, on Monday April 19.
The sale includes a wealth of unique items, including this beaded buckskin Flathead cradleboard perhaps once used to carry an American Indian baby.
Dated to the early-20th century, the cradleboard is beaded with an embroidered sawtooth border, coloured white, blue, brown, metallic and green.

It carries an estimate of $6,000-8,000, and will be one of many historic Native American artefacts to feature in the auction.
Pre-sale exhibitions will be held starting on April 15. Samuel T Freeman & Company are based in Philadelphia, US.
