A set of 50 dolphin sculptures displayed around the city of Aberdeen has raised £531,000 ($862,742) for local charities in an auction in the city on September 10.

The project was organised by the Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital, and Whale and Dolphin Conservation among others.
Other similar projects have been held throughout the UK, including Bristol, and have proven hugely successful in raising money for good causes.
