More weird and wonderful re-imaginings of Darth Vader's helmet have been added to Freeman's upcoming Vader Project auction, scheduled for July 10.
After his cinema debut in 1977, the evil Star Wars villain's creepy helmet remains one of the most iconic - and parodied - designs in modern science fiction.
The idea behind the Vader Project, set-up DKE toys' by Dov Kelemer and Sarah Jo Marks, was simple: to recruit 100 of the best underground artists and designers to unleash their imaginations on the helmet.

Each was given a scale Darth Vader helmet to customise, and the results have since proved popular at Star Wars fan conventions and museums around the world.
"From a simple idea in 2005 to a record-setting exhibition in 2009, it's time for our child to venture forth into the world," said Kelemer and Marks in a statement.
"The sale will give members of the public the chance to purchase unique artworks made from these iconic symbols of the movie industry, by a number of well known artists including Shag, Marc Ecko, Tim Biskup, Frank Kozik and many more."

Since we last reported on the sale in May, 'boggled-eyed' and clown faced designs by David S Krys and Jim Koch have been added to the lots (and are estimated at $3,000-5,000 each).
Other brilliant designs include Wade Lageose's remaining of Darth Vader's helmet as the Statue of Liberty, and Kozik's Rust Vader which, as the name suggests, presents a cleverly 'rusted' version of Vader's head.
The latter two helmets will each appear with estimates of $10,000-15,000 at Freeman's Auctioneers' sale, which will be held in Philadelphia, US.
