A Winnie-the-Pooh pen and ink drawing by EH Shepard titled Their Search for Small has sold for $47,500 at Swann Auction Galleries in New York.
The piece was valued at $15,000, a figure it exceeded by 216.6% at the January 23 sale.

Produced for AA Milne's The House on Pooh Corner, the drawing depicts the characters Rabbit and Owl searching for Very Small Beetle, and is signed in the lower left corner.
The drawing is mounted on a board, which features mild staining and glue marks on the edges, but is otherwise in good condition.
