Gil Elvgren's Roxanne (1960) will star in a sale of illustration art at Heritage Auctions.

Gil Elvgren was an acclaimed pinup artist

The work is expected to reach $100,000-150,000 in Dallas on April 26.

It's a classic example of Elvgren's pinup work for calendar company Brown & Bigelow. His record is $286,800, set for Gay Nymph at Heritage Auctions in 2011.

Other artists featuring in the sale include Patrick Nagel and Alberto Vargas.
