An original page from Herge's Tintin and the Blue Lotus is to cross the block at Artcurial in Paris, in collaboration with Spink.

The lot is expected to sell for $1.1m-1.6m on October 5-6.
The auction house explains: "This drawing [is] one of the finest examples of what can be achieved using the ligne claire style and the only original from this legendary album still in private hands�Ǫ
"This illustration epitomises one of Tintin's finest adventures, but also the whole of the 1930s, a period during which Herg?� established the foundations of the comic strip."
In 2014 a page of illustrations by Herge sold for $3.7m at Artcurial, a new world record for original comic book art.
