20th century design enthusiasts have the chance to start the new year off in style at Kaminski Auctions on January 4.
The Massachusetts auction house will be offering several affordable pieces by well-known names at its Twentieth Century Modern Design & Fine Art Auction.

Pick of the bunch will be a circa 1930 silver leaf coffee table by Max Kuehne.
Valued at up to $5,000, the table features intricate incised floral decoration. Kaminski sold an almost identical Kuehne table for $5,500 in 2013 - suggesting the market will warmly receive this piece.
Kuehne (1880-1968) was both painter and craftsman, turning his incised artistry to a range of objects and furniture.
An original condition egg chair designed by Arne Jacobsen for Danish design firm Fritz Hansen has a $2,000 estimate, while six circa 1950 Paul McCobb dining chairs that he designed for his Planner Group furniture line will also feature.
The 20th century design sector is in excellent health. A Eugene Printz-designed desk sold for $845,000 at Sotheby's 20th century design auction in New York earlier this month.
A Banksy will feature within the art section. Queen Chimp, which depicts Queen Elizabeth II as an ape, has a $10,000 high estimate.
