A 3D hologram image of iconic catwalk model Kate Moss, created by fashion luminary Chris Levine, is to auction at Christie's London on September 25.

Expected to achieve between £100,000 ($152,504) and £150,000 ($228,878), the hologram is likely to lead Christie's dedicated sale of images and artwork pertaining to the supermodel, who has been labelled "the greatest icon of style of the modern age" by the auction house's director of photographs, Philippe Garner.

Photographs of Moss by Annie Leibovitz, Mario Testino, Allen Jones and Irving Penn are also to star at the present sale, with totals expected to exceed £1m ($1.5m).

In addition to the photographic lots, a Peter Blake collage inspired by Moss and an 18-carat gold sculpture of the model by Nick Knight are to round off proceedings.

The works are offered from the collection of German Moss-enthusiast Gert Elfering. Discussing the 39-year-old model's career, Elfering asserts: "Kate is the ultimate modern muse and we will be seeing her images in major museums and private collections for years to come. She has altered perceptions for women across the globe, encouraging them towards greater individuality and expressive freedom."

The landmark sale is expected to generate a surge of interest in Kate Moss collectibles.

In November 2012, three photographs from Moss' first professional shoot hammered for £3,200 ($2,000), £1,500 ($937) and £1,000 ($625), respectively.
