Old Master Q original drawings will star in an exhibition celebrating the iconic Chinese comic at Sotheby's Hong Kong until August 29.

A fixture of newstands across China and widely collected by the Chinese diaspora, Old Master Q has been well loved for over 50 years.
Although not on the auction block, the works will be sold by Sotheby's, with viewers able to select their desired piece at a set price.
Entitled Old Master Q: What the @#$% Is Going On?, the exhibition celebrates the skill of Alfonso Wong, whose hapless character in traditional Chinese clothing has provided an unwavering commentary of Hong Kong's rapidly changing culture.
Old Master Q is still in publication today, though Alfonso Wong gave up drawing the cartoon in 1997 when he handed the reins to his son Joseph who now controls the business rights and oversees a team of artists.
Joseph Wong will be present at the opening event, taking part in a panel discussion with artists from the comics. There will also be a digital installation, Star In Your Very Own Old Master Q Comic Strip, which will turn visitors into Old Master Q characters.
Paul Fraser Collectibles has a great range of comic and animation art for sale.
