Entry-level investors should look no further than Godts of Brussels' upcoming Books, Comic Books and Autographs sale on February 22.
Among the sale's highlights is this 1946 original ink drawing by none other than René Magritte (1898-1967), the Belgian surrealist artist.
The piece measures 20.5 x 15cm and is heightened with white gouache. It is signed at its lower left.
As pictured, the work depicts a torso of nude woman with a curtained window in place of her stomach.

According to Godts' lot notes, the work was originally produced to accompany a republished work by Paul Éluard, the French poet who was also one of the founders of the surrealist movement.
Elsewhere, Magritte works have sold for millions at auction - with his most recent success enjoyed at Sotheby's. But you won't need millions in the bank to acquire this entry-level investment piece.
Consigned from a Brussels private collection, the piece will auction later this month with a €15,000-20,000 pre-sale estimate.
