Two originals and a print by legendary personality Rolf Harris are to be auctioned in Lincolnshire on April 17, 2012, after the items were consigned by a resident who is a former neighbour of the Australian artist.

One of the pieces, called Old Neighbour, was painted especially for the seller as a gift from Harris. Painted in his trademark style, the work is a great example of the style Harris used to portray Queen Elizabeth II for her 80th birthday in 2005.
The provincial auction house in Louth, Lincolnshire, UK is expecting strong interest in all three works given Rolf Harris' status as a stalwart of British entertainment.
Estimates have not yet been set for the three works, with auctioneer Alistair McPhie-Meiklejon commenting in the Louth Target, "It is difficult to put a price on these works. Original Rolf Harris pieces can easily make £100,000 to £150,000. Out of the three we expect the portrait to make the most but we will see what happens on the day. We do expect world-wide interest in these pieces."
While Paul Fraser Collectibles believes this to be an ambitious estimate, the three pieces will no doubt attract attention from global collectors. Harris' artwork has been exhibited at London's National Gallery and is always growing in popularity.
The auction will feature the portrait, a beautiful forest landscape and a print of a Victorian street scene by the artist.
For collectors looking to acquire Harris' work at a more reasonable price, Paul Fraser Collectibles is currently offering a hilarious Rolf Harris autographed self portrait.
