The conical shade displays a floral design that echoes the style of the Dutch Floral artists of the 17th and 18th centuries, in particular that of painter Jan van Huysum.
The all-over design is made up of both imaginary and representative images of numerous flowers and floral arrangements in colours ranging from deep red, to magenta, to orange-yellow, mauve pink and shades of white, all on a dramatic background of fractured and mottled glass that transitions from a rich forest green to a deep blue-purple.
The design has an upper and lower border of textured reddish-pink art glass.

The "Huysum Bouquet" rests on a vase shaped base that carries the same greenish-brown patina as the shade. The shade on its base stands 26" tall and is signed.
Most recently, a 22" Orchid lamp from the Porcelli Studio was one of the three top lots, exceeding its high estimate, during James D. Julia's Lamp & Glass Auction, held on June 24th, 2011.
During Michaan's November 2010 Auction, a 20" Porcelli Bouquet sold for $18,720, besting its estimate of $12,000-$14,000.
