A major collection of dadaist and surrealist art and memorabilia will include an unpublished notebook from Salvador Dali - valued at $45,672-57,090.
The first few pages of the notebook feature Dali's handwritten notes |
The pages are filled with the great surrealist's characteristically unsettling illustrations, along with tables of expense calculations.
The lot and the rest of the collection selling at Sotheby's Paris on April 26 was built up by a father and son over many years.
It includes a wealth of rare editions of texts and artworks relating to the art movements, alongside letters and other artefacts from the artists themselves.
