Five previously unseen photos of a young John F Kennedy are to auction.
The snaps feature the future president as a lighthearted teenager in the early to mid-1930s.
The five photos are estimated to make $2,000 when they sell as a single lot at RR Auction on September 16.

The Kennedy family gave them to biographer Gene Schoor in 1961 while he was writing his book Young John Kennedy.
A 1935 photo of Kennedy in high school graduation cap and gown is among the items. Kennedy attended the prestigious Choate school in Connecticut.
Another photo features Kennedy and a roommate in a drama club rehearsal, while a third depicts Kennedy horsing around with a group of friends.

"An absolutely outstanding, one-of-a-kind collection of original material from Kennedy's formative years," commented RR Auction's Bobby Livingston.
"We've seen JFK at Choate - but you don't really see images like this. The one outside his house with him and all his buddies [below] - that's what he was known for. Jack as a young person was always thought of as a cut-up.'
"He was mischievous at Choate. Joe, his father, didn't see him as the presidential candidate. That was his older brother, Joe Jr. So he's relaxed in these pictures."
