A collection of vintage 1940s British Rail travel posters, found under the floor of an Edinburgh house, has auctioned in the UK.
Pick of the bunch was an example advertising the merits of the Isle of Man. It sold for £1,900 ($3,108) at the Onslows auction in Dorset on December 20.
The collection of 10 posters may have been amassed by a former railway worker, poster expert Patrick Bogue told the Daily Mail.
"The posters are all seaside holiday destinations that would have been accessible from Edinburgh", he added.
