An autograph from Apache leader Geronimo has sold for $10,207 at Oak Auctions in Florida.
The lot, which includes a lock of the chief's hair, dates to September 30, 1904 and was signed at the St Louis World's Fair.

Geronimo was one of the most feared and respected Native American leaders of his generation before his capture in Arizona in 1886.
Sadly, he ended his days as an attraction in wild west shows and was never permitted to return to his native land.
