It's due to headline a sale of rare books and Americana at Sotheby's New York on June 19.
In it he praises the right of the people to vote, stating that the new system will "afford less opportunity for corruption & indifference; & more for stability & system than has usually been incident to popular governments."
Ultimately the words were refined and the more firebrand elements of his speech toned down, but the lot still offers an exciting look at what the first US president wanted to say.
