A baseball signed by Ernest Hemingway and Fidel Castro is to star in a sale at Harris Auctions in Tampa, Florida.

The lot will lead an August 22 clear out of pieces from the Capital Pawn shop.
Joe Cacciatore, owner of Capital Pawn, told local news station WTSP: "In 1959, Castro and Ernest Hemingway were fishing…This was the day that Castro caught his biggest marlin."
The ball also features a drawing of a marlin.
There's no estimate available. As Cacciatore explains: "It's worth what somebody is willing to pay for it."
We have this signed invitation to a 1959 talk given by Castro in the US for sale.
