Only 750 copies of the first edition of the book which introduced Poe's most famous poem were printed, as he was not famous until after the poem became well known. This copy is expected to bring up to $100,000.
Last year a copy of the work sold at Christie's for $182,000, whilst two handwritten Poe poems sold for $362,500.
The anniversary of the book's publication, on January 29 (1945) has recently passed.
