The first English book on the subject of women's rights, dating to 1632, is to auction at Bonhams' sale of a collection of law books in London.
It has a £2,000-3,000 ($3,310-4,965) estimate ahead of the March 5 sale.

The book was written by Thomas Edgar and carries the title "The Lawes of Resolutions of Women's Rights: or the Lawes, Provision for Women".
It codifies the state's standing on the rights of women in the case of a range of issues including rape, divorce and polygamy.
Another example sold for £5,625 ($9,308) at Bonhams London in 2012.
