Christie's is offering the original master plan for Salt Lake City in its Fine Printed Books and Manuscripts sale on December 14.
|
Salt Lake City was founded in Utah in 1847 by a group of Mormon pioneers travelling west to escape religious persecution.
The city remains a stronghold of the church.
The plan was drawn up by Henry Garlic Sherwood in 1847, under the orders of Brigham Young - the leader of the pioneers.
It's expected to make around $400,000-600,000.
