Tokyo's contribution to an event billed as 'the best book fair in the world' will take place on March 11-13.
The Tokyo International Antiquarian Bookfair 2010 will attract around 30 overseas booksellers when it is held at the region's Izumi Garden Gallery.
Attendees to the exhibition will including the Inoue Book Company, specialising in rare art and science books; early Japanese Antiquarian sellers Azuchi-Do Rare Books Co Ltd; and Sugihara Bookstore Ltd, specialising in economics, history and political science.
Meanwhile, the New York Antiquarian Book Fair is scheduled to return to the Park Avenue between April 8-11 (with a preview on April 8).
