The 48-SS has been with the same family for more than 60 years and has won numerous accolades

The annual auction at the Hershey Lodge celebrates early motoring heritage, with a selection of vehicles from the Brass Era set to highlight. The Pierce-Arrow leads, with its $550,000-750,000 estimate in part a result of its esteemed provenance.

Chassis 7940 has been with the same family for more than 60 years. In 1957, it participated in the Glidden Tours, securing the AAA Award. It is also a First Junior AACA award winner, adding to a long list of accolades.

Joining the Pierce-Arrow is an "extremely original" 1911 Packard Model UEFR "30" Limousine, sporting an impressive patina and with a fresh mechanical service. It is valued at $175,000-250,000.

Further Brass Era highlights include a 1912 Dunbar Model 1200 Popcorn Wagon, which has been accurately restored and is one of just nine known to exist, warranting a $175,000-200,000 estimate.

From the classic era comes a Dietrich-designed 1934 Packard Eight Convertible Victoria, which has secured numerous best of show awards, including at the 1975 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.

The Packard is believed to have been owned from new by Academy Award winning actress Marie Dressler, and was formerly in the famous Milhous Collection.
