The model was originally a standard 105s, but had been converted into a replica of the marque's famous Alpine Racer, which dominated European competitions in the 1930s.
British firm Talbot was the most prestigious manufacturer in the Sunbeam-Talbot-Darracq (STD) corporation.
In 1935, the organisation collapsed and the Talbot brand was discontinued in the 1950s - although it was resurrected between 1979 and 1994.
Also selling was a 1974 BMW 2002 rally car.
It was one of two built by the company's motorsport division for the 1974/1975 rally season, and features a M12/7 Formula 2 engine.
The vehicle won the 1975 Donegal International Rally.
It sold just below estimate for £119,100 ($188,425).
Bonhams said of the BMW prior to the auction: "Described by the private vendor as in generally excellent condition, this unique 2002 rally car represents a probably once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the BMW collector to acquire an important piece of the factory's competition history, potentially eligible for a wide variety of historic motor sports events including Le Mans Classic."
A 1960 Austin-Healey 3000 Mark I Roadster made £43,700 ($69,135).
