Bonhams will offer a rare 1958 Talbot-Lago T14 America Coupe in its Grand Marques du Monde sale in Paris on February 9.

Talbot-Lago was a much revered French marque

The car was one of the last to leave Talbot-Lago’s factory in Suresnses, France. It’s one of around 12 specimens fitted with a BMW V8, a decision made to appeal to US buyers.

However, this last ditch attempt at opening up new markets could not reverse years of decline and the company was bought out by rival marque Simca in 1959.

It’s expected to make around $477,281-583,343.
