Bonhams will offer a stunning Aston Martin DB5 as the highlight of its February 5 Grand Palais sale in Paris.

The 1965 DB5 convertible is one of only 19 ever made in left-hand drive, and is one of the most iconic cars of its era, warranting a $1.4m-1.8m estimate.
The DB5 is joined by a beautiful 1963 DB4C, which is one of the rarest Aston Martins produced in the 1960s, with only 70 made. It's valued at $1.4m-1.9m.
"The duo of Aston Martins offered are perfect examples of the superior design that took hold of the brand in its post-war David Brown era," commented Bonhams' European head of motoring, Philip Kantor.
"The cars were driven by the coolest of cool, and were accordingly featured in films of the decade; the DB5 model is synonymous with the James Bond franchise, and the DB4C came to a treacherous end over the alpine cliff edge in The Italian Job."
Both cars are left-hand drive examples and feature coachwork from Touring's Superleggera - a super lightweight system that brings a touch of Italian style to an otherwise British car.
The 2015 Grand Palais sale will be Bonhams' largest to date, featuring around 130 classic cars.
