A 1963 Glas Goggomobil is valued at £10,000-12,000 ($15,637-18,765) ahead of a sale at Charterhouse Auctions in Sherbourne, UK on July 19.

The marque began producing its diminutive range of cars in Bavaria after the second world war.
Matthew Whitney of Charterhouse told Blackmore Vale magazine: "We have some fabulous entries into this specialist auction. However, for me it is the cheeky little Goggomobile which has put a smile on my face. Looking at a photograph of the car, you do not realise how diminutive it is.
"Despite its somewhat sporty pretences, it has a tiny 247cc two stroke engine with 13.6 horsepower propelling the car, when new, to a claimed top speed of 47mph.
"Needless to say, the sales brochures could not publicise a 0-60mph time."
