Following the record-breaking auction of the Captain America chopper from Easy Rider this past weekend (October 18), Bonhams has consigned motorbikes from the classic film's stars Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper.

Alongside Hopper and Fonda's bikes are the Herb Harris and Silverman collections - the latter stars this Ducati Supermono

The motorbikes will sell as part of the Las Vegas Motorcycle Auction on January 8. There are several motorcycles from the collection of Dennis Hopper (1936-2010) offered, including a 2003 Indian Chief and a 2006 Harley-Davidson VRSC V-Rod.

Estimates have not yet been announced.

Fonda consigned the special edition bike in keeping with the 'inseparable link' between himself and Hopper, co-stars of Easy Rider

Hopper's bikes are to be joined by a special edition 2007 MV Agusta F4-1000R consigned by Peter Fonda.

The Indian motorcycle company has been plagued by bankruptcy, with this one of the last produced after it re-emerged between 1999 and 2003

Also starring in the sale will be the renowned Herb Harris Collection. Harris is a collector praised for his painstaking restorations, which command higher prices than many others in the market.  

The highlight of the collection is a 1946 Vincent 1X Rapide B Prototype, which was the first ever produced. Its engine was previously lost, yet Harris tracked it down and restored it to the chassis.

In what looks to be a highly exciting sale for collectors, the Silverman Museum Racing Collection will also feature, dominated by Ducati.
