The last known Morris Model-G taxi will star in a sale at Richard Edmonds Auction in Chippenham on June 16-18.

The 1928-made car is expected to achieve £25,000 ($36,159).
Only 840 of the cars were produced. Taxi roofs were higher in those days than today as a man had to be able to sit in the back wearing a top hat.
This example ended its career as a cab in 1939 and was converted into a tractor by a farmer.
At some time in the intervening years it was discovered rusting in his barn and was fully restored. It's a regular fixture at rallies across the UK and is likely to attract solid bids as a result.
