An astonishing collection of 500 low mileage vintage Chevrolets that went unsold at a Nebraska dealership will be sold through VanderBrink Auctions on September 28 and 29.

The cars belong to Ray Lambrecht, who ran a Chevrolet dealership in Nebraska for over 50 years. He held on to the cars that didn't sell, stashing them in warehouses and at his farm.
Around 50 of the Chevrolets have fewer than 20 miles on the clock and many date from the 1950s and 1960s. Among the most valuable is a rare Chevy Cameo pickup, which is expected to see a six-figure sum come sale day.
Although weather and time has deteriorated many of them, the cars will be prized by collectors for their original components, as the majority of Chevrolets of the same age are now restored, their original parts long since disposed of.
