The one millionth Morris Minor to roll off the production line has sold for £25,760 ($38,947) at Historics in Surrey, UK.
The car dates to 1960, has just under 24,000 miles on the clock and was extensively restored during the 1990s.

The auction house commented prior to the sale: "To commemorate manufacturing a million cars (the first time a UK British manufacture had ever built such an amount), BMC produced 349 'millionth' cars.
"Of these, 31 were sold to North America and Europe and the remaining 318 were distributed equally through the UK BMC dealer network resulting in one car per dealer.
"All of the 'millionth' cars were two-door examples and finished in Lilac with white leather trim."
While there were a number produced, this specimen is identified as the actual millionth model.
Historics' Stewart Banks explained to the BBC: "There were 349 made but this is the only one with the million mark on its chassis.
"The Morris Minor has a very loyal fan base - people have them for years. This particular car has been owned by the vendor for 19 years. It is just the quintessential British motor car."
The Morris Minor was produced by British Leyland between 1948 and 1972 and remains hugely popular in Britain and in former British territories around the world.
