A rare Roman gold coin, dating from 103 to 111 AD, comes to ArtCoins Roma at the end of the month with a $15,000 estimate.
The high quality piece, which is a standout lot for investors at the Rome sale, features the laureated, draped and cuirassed bust of Trajan, the Roman emperor from 98 to 117 AD.

The reverse bears the rarely used legend "Salus Generis Humani" or "health to the human race", alongside a human depiction of "health".
Among the other leading attractions at the sale is a gold piece from 54 to 68 AD depicting Nero, estimated at $11,400, and a $15,000-valued medallion of co-emperor Lucis Verus, dating from 165 to 166 AD.
The auction takes place on May 31.
