King Charles moved his court (including the Royal Mint) to Oxford after he was ousted from the city of London during the English Civil War.
This specimen is of particular note as it was once in the collection of King Edward VII. It's expected to realise around £80,000-100,000 ($113,660-142,076).
We have a rare lightweight minting of the Charles I Unite coin for sale.
