A piece of bloodstained fabric from the sofa Adolf Hitler committed suicide on in April 30, 1945 will be offered at Alexander Historical Auctions in Maryland.
The lot is listed in a February 18 sale with an estimate of $10,000-15,000.

It was collected as a souvenir by a US army colonel, and features a contemporary tag that reads: "No. 39 Piece of covering of davenport in Hitler's air raid shelter - blood supposed to be Hitler's."
The sale will also feature the visitor's book from George S Patton's funeral and a watercolour by Hitler.
