Here's some great news for fans of Elton John and collectors and investors with a passion for rock memorabilia: Sheila Dwight is moving house.
Apparently, Sheila - better known as Elton John's mother - has decided to move to a smaller home. Because of this, she will be clearing out her attic.
And now collectors and fans will have a chance to own the very personal collection that Sheila has built up over 38 years, featuring a number of treasures from her son's glittering career.
Among the items due to auction in Sussex, south England, are tour jackets, VIP passes used by Sheila to get into her son's gigs and more than 100 gold and platinum discs.
The auction will be held by Gorringes auction house, and is due to take place on October 19. But, if you can't wait for the sale, here's some other good news...
Also currently for sale on the collectors' markets is this unique stage costume worn by Elton and designed by the noted Japanese fashion designer, Issey Miyake.
The suit is made from experimental black polyurethane and is decorated with a textured raised pattern of tear drops and slash marks.
In excellent condition, this one-of-a-kind suit isn't just a definitive piece of rock history, it will also prove a great investment for the lucky buyer.
