Manion's auctioneers continues to live up to its reputation as one of the pre-eminent sellers of collectible militaria with the sale of a DWM Russian Model Luger pistol.
The outstanding condition model 1902/6 9mm Luger comes with a distinctive looking named holster and belt.
It has an excellent bore, grip safety and a serial number 387, with a matching numbered 3-7/8" barrel.
The holster's inside flap bears the name "PODPORUCHIK" (Second Lieutenant) Glukhov, "St" - which is believed to stand for St Petersburg.

As one of the rarest Luger variations, it is a highly desirable collectors' item and carries an opening bid of $20,000.
The attributed holster is predicted to seriously boost the Luger's value.
