A rare 1900 William McKinley "Prosperity" re-election campaign poster is offered at Hake's Americana.

The piece is valued at $10,000-20,000 in an impressively stocked sale that closes on November 15.

McKinley's first term was marked by a skyrocketing economy - a point he labours heavily in this poster.

He achieved a strong victory in 1900, but his tenure was cut short by his assassination in 1901.

The auction house explains: "This impressive poster is the recognized leader of golden age political campaign lithography and is easily the most highly sought after display item produced for McKinley's 1900 re-election campaign�Ǫ

"Of the few known examples, the vast majority have noticeable condition issues.

"The present example represents a rare opportunity to obtain an investment grade campaign artifact that would rank as a center piece even in the most advanced collections."

Another of these posters in a similar condition sold for $17,925 at Heritage Auctions in 2010.

A 1912 Debs / Seidel campaign badge is expected to make $5,000-10,000.

Eugene Debs (1855-1926) founded the Industrial Workers of the World union (aka the Wobblies).

An influential figure in the US socialist movement, he ran as the Socialist Party of America's presidential candidate five times.

He clinched a 6% stake of the vote in 1912.

This badge is among the rarest campaign items relating to him on the market.
