Bidding on a copy of a British Airways in-flight magazine signed by Christopher Reeve and Paul McCartney stands at $450 in PFC Auctions' online sale.
It's accompanied by a letter of provenance explaining how the consignor came by the signatures after finding himself sat near the two celebrities on a Concorde flight in 1983.

He writes: "Paul and Linda McCartney were fantastic people and acted like down to earth celebrities which I don't think anyone would believe if they had not met them".
According to the PFC40 Autograph Index, McCartney's signature grew in value by 20.6% pa between 2000 and 2013.
The auction closes on October 1.
