A Christian Dior clutch bag belonging to Jackie Kennedy sold for $31,250 at Nate D Sanders on April 29.

Jackie Kennedy gave the Dior bag to her chauffeur as a gift

It was consigned by the family of James H Boyer, who had formerly worked as a chauffeur to the Kennedys, and was sold alongside a note of provenance from his daughter Karen that reads: "Once, while she was clearing her closet, Jackie offered Boyer some of her worn shoes and handbags to give to his wife."
