A broadside printed in 1878 that advertises a trip around Lake Tahoe is estimated at $15,000-30,000 ahead of a sale at Holabird Western Americana Collections.

Four separate businesses offer tourists the chance to travel by stagecoach, railway and steamer to the Lake Shore House in Tahoe City.
One of the business owners, stagecoach driver Hank Monk, is mentioned in Mark Twain's collection of travel writing Roughing It (1872).
