Marilyn Monroe's signed Judaism conversion certificate has sold for $70,400 at Julien's Auctions in Los Angeles.

The lot highlighted a memorabilia sale on December 16.
The certificate is dated July 1, 1956 - the day of her wedding to Arthur Miller. They were married for five years but divorced in 1961. Marilyn died of an overdose shortly afterwards.
Memorabilia from this period of her life is attractive to collectors. A love letter written to Miller sold for $43,750 at Julien's last year.
