Teen pop sensation Justin Bieber and legendary metal pioneer Ozzy Osbourne have contributed some very special items to a charity auction - a pair of space suits. Not usually known for their cosmological exploits, the two stars wore the suits in an advert broadcast during this year's Superbowl.
The futuristic space suits are grey with strips of neon lighting. Allegedly bought for $30,000, they were auctioned through eBay on March 1 and raised a grand total of $8,350 - with Bieber's suit alone realising $5,000. The proceeds go straight to the Sharon Osbourne Colon Cancer Program.
The rocker's wife, the founder and patron of the charity, commented on the sale through her US daytime show, 'The Talk', claiming, "Justin was sweating all day, so it's covered in his sweat. They are unbelievable outfits . . . They're signed by the guys and it smells just like Justin! The money goes to a great, great cause."

Bieber and Osbourne have been popular collectible subjects on recent times. As we reported last week, Bieber donated some of his hair to a charitable auction. It was purchased by the Golden Palace casino in Las Vegas for a staggering $40,688.
The iconic artwork for Ozzy's 'No Rest for the Wicked' album will be offered for sale by Bonhams later this week, with a high estimate of $6,000 - a moderate investment for a fan of music art or the Prince of Darkness himself.
Space suits are always a popular collectible. Unlike the Bieber and Osbourne outfits, this training suit is the real-deal - worn and signed by Buzz Aldrin, the second man on the moon. With the continuing popularity of space collectibles - Bieber related or not - it would make a good investment for a collector with the money available.
