The lot is among the highlights of a sale on June 25, with a starting bid of $8,000.

The auction house explains that the lot was "gifted by President Ronald Reagan in 1983 to Amy Benham, a seven-year-old girl who was invited through the Make-a-Wish foundation to light the White House Christmas tree on 15 December 1983.

"The touching event became a national story, and this lot includes an original VHS tape with footage of Benham, including her comment that the President gave her ''jelly beans!'''
