A collection of clothing belonging to members of the British royal family are to sell at Chiswick Auctions.
All were made by Bernard Weatherill Ltd of Saville Row, which has held the Royal Warrant to produce riding clothes since 1920.
Queen Elizabeth wore this skirt during the 1954 Trooping of the Colours
A letter of provenance accompanying the lot reads: “the garments in this box were made by the firm for various members of the Royal Family and have been handed back to them as mementos”.
The lot includes a pair of jodhpurs made for Queen Elizabeth II in 1933, when she was just seven years old.
They were, as the letter accompanying them attests, “the first we ever made for the Queen when she was a child”.
There’s also a pair from 1935 (when she was nine) and 1970, when she was 44.

The collection is valued at £400-600 ($515-772), but that could prove a little on the low side.
