Just days after Hollywood Comedian Ben Stiller revealed that he is a collector of Star Trek memorabilia at this week's Academy Awards, auction house Julien's has unveiled some of the items appearing in its early-Summer Star Trek auction.

The sale will focus entirely on props and memorabilia from the JJ Abrams-directed film, released to considerable success last year.
Even though the memorabilia is all new, the auction will still offer collectors a chance to own a costume worn on the cinema screen by one of science fiction's most iconic characters.
The Spock "Prime" Parka, sported by actor Leonard Nimoy as his legendary character Mr Spock - or Ambassador Spock, as he is now known - will auction with an estimate of $5,000-7,500.
Nimoy's cameo appearance features the character marooned on the desolate planet Delta Vega.
Also featured in the sale are eight one-of-a-kind artist customised USS Enterprise models.
Built by Quantum Mechanix, the reproductions of Captain James T Kirk's famous spaceship have been painted by artists from around the world and will be sold for charity.
