An auction of memorabilia from the hit TV series True Blood is being held through Screenbid on August 25, as the final episode approaches.

The HBO show is now in its seventh series, with the finale due to air on August 24. The sale follows Screenbid's auction of memorabilia from Breaking Bad, which was a huge success just days after the final episode finished.
The True Blood auction features 54 items from the show, each issued with a certificate of authenticity from HBO. Starring is Eric Northman's (played by Aexander Skarsgard) Fangtasia throne, an instantly recognisable piece from the bar the character owns.

Also starring is the contract that binds lead female Sookie (Anna Paquin) to the faerie-vampire hybrid Warlow - one of the most important pieces of memorabilia from the show. One of two created, it is a fantastic display piece for fans.
Sure to be among the biggest draws are several sets of fangs worn by the lead characters, as well as puddles of fake bloody remains used throughout the series. Much of the auction is made up for screen-worn clothing hailing from the most memorable scenes.
True Blood was an instant hit on its release and many of its series have received critical acclaim. With big-budget dramas ever popular, TV memorabilia is hot property, though hype surrounding the shows may subside and see many items lose value over time.
